The bamboo flooring sector is expected to experience significant growth over the next few years. In fact, the entire flooring industry is doing quite well, as more than 70% of flooring respondents — including manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and contractors — expect sales increase of at least 3% throughout 2018 and into the new year. Additionally, 8% of those flooring respondents believe urethane flooring adhesive and similar material sales will grow exponentially.
Solid bamboo floors can be nailed down using 18 gauge cleats or glued down using urethane wood flooring adhesives, Urethane flooring adhesive are moisture-cured and dry faster in higher humidity levels, which is great for various flooring installation projects. When using a bamboo flooring adhesive, it’s recommended to let the adhesive cure at least 12 to 15 hours before walking on it, and 24 hours before moving heavy furniture into place.
